I've been surprised by this album. I wasn't a fan of the debut, I liked a couple of tracks (Fake Tales of San Francisco is brilliant imo), but this has really impressed me. Sure, it's nothing ground breaking, but they've toughened up their sound and it suits 'em. Listening to QOTSA's really helped!
