quarter23cd Posted August 31, 2006 Share Posted August 31, 2006 You know its hurricane season when my local paper recently ran an article asking if the northeast is "due" for a big one (a realistic possibility, I'll admit), and then went on to hypothesize about a storm surge rushing up the Hudson Valley and the various rivers and tributaries thereof and, eventually, I think water will then be lapping at my doorstep. Considering that I'm pretty well up in the hills of CT, if that scenario ever really did play out, I think all of NYC would have to be under at least 200 feet of water. If so, y'all are focked!!!!
