Calexico
When was O released anyway? And to make it worse it was released here a year or more before it opened up worldwide. Seems like Guns n Roses were making records when they released O!
HighFives
me, my yoke, and I is pretty ill. It's not as good as O tho. O had like 4 or 5 really really great tracks then the rest were just meh. 9 has like 2 great tracks and the rest is just good.

That's because your from Ireland. He rarely got airplay in the states. In fact, I went to see Fiona Apple and Damien Rice earlier this year and the majority of the crowd had never heard of Damien. Orpheum, December 20 Is Lisa coming?!?

Calexico
Sounds like a nice gig, love The Frames. They do suffer from the big fish/small pond over here but easily one of my favourite Irish bands in years.

I am so lazy when it comes to getting out to the stores.
H to the ickle
I just downloaded it and like it alot so far. I'll probably end up buying it when it comes out (or deleting it from my computer).
Mystik Spiral
Downloaded "9" today... I was not expecting another "O" by any means. In fact, I was just hoping to NOT be thoroughly disappointed. After one listen, I am pleasantly surprised by "9". It helped to not get my hopes up, but I think it's a solid album. Granted, I hadn't touched "O" in ages, and in listening to it now, immediately after my "9" maiden voyage, it's too obvious what the better album is... But. I think anyone would be hard pressed to follow up an album like "O" with something better. Near impossible, actually... I'm looking forward to more spins of "9". I Damien Rice. And Lisa, yes... Serak_the_Preparer
password is BLOWER there are still good seats left - 2nd row pit and 1st row balcony...
Mystik Spiral
I've listened to the album another couple of times.... I really really like it. There's just something about Damo and the way he wears his heart on his sleeve. Also, I can't get over how Damien and Lisa's vocals complement each other so well, it's nice to see her pretty well represented on the new album. Whatever grabbed me with "O" seems to be working again with "9". I like it more everytime I hear it (thus far).
solace
password is BLOWER there are still good seats left - 2nd row pit and 1st row balcony... did you score those pit ones? i scored 2 in MF2 Row A (so 4th row center), not bad
Serak_the_Preparer
did you score those pit ones? i scored 2 in MF2 Row A (so 4th row center), not bad Yep This will be quite the Christmas present for the wife - 2nd row pit...in the center. I debated whether or not to go for 1st row balcony, but I opted for the pit. Hopefully no 6' 11" dudes sit in front of me! Row A should be great - as long as there is a space between the pit and the seats you will have an unobstructed view.
