Campaigner
I can't believe how many people are hating on In Through the Out Door. My god it has some of the most beautiful and unique Zeppelin tracks: I'm Gonna Crawl, Carouselambra, All My Love. I know it's uncool to enjoy ITTOD but I do. Is it Zep's best? No, but it's not terrible by any means. Plus, it's got 'Fool in the Rain' on there, and any album that has that song on there can't be bad...
danelectro
I think ITTOD is a great album front to back.
Analogman
We're Gonna Groove - same one that is on Coda - I think

Analogman
We were talking about that the other day - I just remembered to look at the one I have - it is on a label called TVT Records - date is 2000. "enhanced program includes previously unreleased live performance footage and photos"
Barbarino
I have the original "for purchase only on the internets" copy... I'm curious, what is the live performance footage on your disk?
Analogman
I have not played it in years - but I think it is whatever songs are on the first cd. If I recall correctly, it is a mix of film and photos.
bjorn_skurj
When I went to see Plant & Page in 1994 - they had the Egyptian musicians and string sections with them - they did a version of "In the Evening" which ranks as one of the finest and most beautiful things I have ever witnessed. Analogman
That tour was missing 2 people. Seems like every since then, Robert has been trying to figure out ways to re-invent Zeppelin songs. I don't much care for it - although, that thing they did together was interesting. I found a website one time that had a photo journal of some women who sat out to go to the various places that you see in the No Quarter Unledded film - and at the end they actually went to Robert's house - pretty cool. Campaigner
Seems like every since then, Robert has been trying to figure out ways to re-invent Zeppelin songs. Which is odd, because the reason he jumped off the Page/Plant tour in 1998 was because he apparently didn't want to be reminded of the Zeppelin legacy. Who knows what goes in that mind of his... P.S Hey Percy, if Michael Bolton can cut his hair, so can you!

Dude
To fully appreciate Presence in all its glory requires the exact mix of drugs Page was into at the time which included H, mescaline and horse tranquilizers.

Analogman
Interesting - one thing I have never paid very much attention to is rock star birth/death dates.
