fatheadfred
i don't like rasheed wallace very much During game 6 after he had to ride the pine for another foul, he said (very clearly) to the camera, "get that fuckin camera out of my face." And he looked serious. It was great. I like his passion for the game, he just loses it from time to time. First time I saw Garnett in the playoffs I thought he was going to get a T everytime he came down the floor. He gets psyched.
Guest Jules
I haven't kept up on Bball much, usually just watch the playoffs. How is Kobe better than Jordan?Better shooter than Jordan ever was. Better all around player.
MrRain422
Jordan was a better defender.

cryptique
Better shooter than Jordan ever was. Better all around player.Wow, that's spectacularly wrong. Jordan's career field goal percentage is 44 points higher than Kobe's.

MrRain422
Since Jules is making insane claims I'm going to just go ahead and assume he's baiting the Bulls fans around here.

Isn't it...unless I am missing something like, % during the last 2 minutes of the quarter, or during close games, or when it is sunny outside?

I went to many Bulls playoff games including Finals games. I am probably one of the bigger Bulls fans around here. Still a season ticket holder. Big Jordan fan. Went to his summer basketball camp for 3 years. I'm not baiting anyone, just expressing a feeling I never thought I would have. I realize it's a hard thought to swallow. I just think Kobe is a better all around player than Jordan was. Players and GMs in the league are saying it too (per ESPN and SI.com). Now, I don't think it's cut and dry, but the fact that it can at least be discussed is interesting to me. One thing is for sure, Bryant is far and away the best there is right now. It's really not even close.

Jordan was a driving/layup/dunking machine into the early 90s, relatively speaking. Shaquille O'Neal's career FG% is probably pushing 60%. You wouldn't consider him a goot shooter, would you? MrRain422
I'd definately agree that Kobe is the best in the game today, I just don't think he's quite up to Jordan's level.

I understand your point, now. I just like Jordan because I had the carnvial Air Jordans in 4th grade. They improved my game.

fatheadfred
I will not miss you, Flip Saunders. Why don't you like Flip? I care neither way, just think he looks more like the guy who sets up a mini grill for 90cent hot dogs and swills the beast in the parking lot before a NFL game. Oil Can Boyd
Lakers 10 free throws. Celtics 38 free throws.I may not be a student of the game enough to understand why that discrepancy is so great but the gap in total fouls is much smaller (LA 28, Boston 21).
Gobias Industries
I may not be a student of the game enough to understand why that discrepancy is so great but the gap in total fouls is much smaller (LA 28, Boston 21). Shooting fouls draw free throws. Boston could have just been called on random fouls like reach-ins way away from the hoop. It's evident therefore that either Boston played a flawless game (which isn't NOT the case), or some calling went awry (much more likely).
