Rage...the only reason i'd go.

"Rage Against the Machine, the seminal L.A. band that made heavy music into political manifesto, will reunite after a seven-year lull for one show as the headliners at the 2007 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Sources say Rage, which played the main stage at the first Coachella in 1999, will be joined by other familiar faces for the eighth edition of the festival, which covers three days this year and begins April 27: Red Hot Chili Peppers, which headlined in 2003, are back, as is Bj

That looks like a pretty good lineup. Too bad it's so far.

And for more info. you can check out www.frenzforum.com where a kinda confirmation was given (Crowded House section) by fanclub manager (among other hats he wears), Peter Green.

Looks like maybe the guys will be putting a toe in to test the waters (??) in California come April. :)

Jesus and Mary Chain???? :blink

Sweet. :rock

I won't be going to this festival (I have sworn off festivals forever, no matter how awesome the lineup), but TJAMC would be quite something to see. I saw them in 1988 at the Brixton Academy and it was insane.

Man, what a line up - Sorry, I'm a complete sucker for this Rage-Reunion. Thinking about this very hard. Does anyone know roughly the price for a three-day pass?

they've never done 3 day before, but in past years for 2 days its been roughly $140 or $150

so I'm guessing they are going to try to either keep it around there or up it to like $180
