SlowBurn68
I believe he said yes in another thread.  Great. I've been $aving up to purchase some merchandise from this show. I would also like them to play "Crack a Smile".

zebra
So what's to stop people from standing up above the side and looking down?
JackT24
well, i just told my professor that i won't be attending class on sept. 12 because a. it's my birthday and b. my favorite band wilco is playing in my home town. I thought it was pretty funny that she told me "quite honestly, i don't really care that it is your birthday, but if wilco was playing in my home town, i wouldn't be attending class either"
theashtraysays
Wilcoworld home page has a link for "NOW ACCEPTING REQUESTS FOR MILLENNIUM PARK" which goes to an online form for requests for the show.... should be interesting.

isadorah
Holy crap! This is awesome!!!! And yes, I am also getting a error message.  guess we'll have to stay up to the wee hours of the morning and try submitting a request when no one else is online.
Gobias Industries
I was going to request Freebird, but alas... I'm not going though, just wanted to chime in. I think I might request either Pieholden Suite, Leave Me (Like You Found Me), Just a Kid, or Dreamer in My Dreams and say in the message "If you play this, you will get a 12-pack of Diet Coke when you come to Columbus." zebra
They don't have my request of "When The Roses Bloom Again". Damn. "Panthers" also seems to be missing. Oh well, this is still very cool of them to do. edit. Thanks for adding it sir! (you know who you are)
JackT24
Has it worked for anyone yet? I keep getting the same error sign.
zebra
Yes, I got it to work. What browser are you using? I guess Safari doesn't work well with that form.
Wilco LP #7
The request thing is super awesome. This setlist should be crazy good. Even without the requests, though, the recent setlists have looked really fucking impressive. It's about time they started better utilizing the breadth of the song catalogue. I'm fully confident in the awesomeness of this show. Yes!
zebra
The high for next Wednesday looks like 71, so once the sun goes down, it will be almost sweatshirt weather.
Bhickman
Cannot wait for tonight's show.
candyfloss1214
Our son is so excited about going to his first show tonight. He could't get to sleep last night he was so excited (he's 4). He requested Misunderstood. Looks like it's going to be chilly out there! 68 is the high today.
Laylow
Good morning all, first time poster here...good to be here. Anyway, not sure if anyone mentioned a meeting place already, don't think so, but there is an Octoberfest going on behind my building (Adams and Drearborn) this evening, starting at 5. I think Hairbanger's Ball might be playing right around 5...so, if anyone wants to enjoy the nice weather, have some beers, and listen to some Cinderella and Ratt covers (maybe a little G 'n R as well ), then you're in luck! I'm thinking of heading there at 5 for an hour or so and then walking over to MP. Also, I didn't see confirmation in the MP thread, but does anyone know for sure if they will be serving adult beverages in the pavilion this evening? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SHOW TONIGHT!!!! ENJOY!!!! Marcus p.s. Just confirmed the fest, link is below: http://metromix.chicagotribune.com/events/...0,3366747.event Bring on the Def Leppard!!
boywiththepoetrypower
Has anyone requested "Let Me Come Home Yet?" It sounds only fitting that they play it tonight.
SlowBurn68
Does anyone know what order the rows are? For example in section 105, do the rows start with the letter "A" being close to the stage or vice versa?
lulu
I am so excited for all of you who are going to tonight's show. How I wish I could be there. Anywho... I did put in a request for Casino Queen. I've got a good story to go with why I chose it, so who knows. I won't be seeing them untiil 10/19 and I cannot wait!! Cheers to Chicago!!!!!!!!!!!! zebra
Also, I didn't see confirmation in the MP thread, but does anyone know for sure if they will be serving adult beverages in the pavilion this evening? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!Nobody has been able to answer this question, but at the first and only other ticketed paid event at MP, there was alcohol sold inside. Â Does anyone know what order the rows are? For example in section 105, do the rows start with the letter "A" being close to the stage or vice versa?I tried to find this out, but the very front was blocked. If you're in 105, you will have great seats no matter what row you're in! I say that because I'm in 106 and am happy with my seats.
SlowBurn68
Thank you Z... Also from the Millennium Park FAQ: http://www.millenniumpark.org/generalinformation/faqs.html Q: Is alcohol permitted in the park?A: Alcohol is allowed in designated areas in the park - the Jay Pritzker Pavilion during public performances and the McCormick Tribune Plaza. Glass bottles and cans are not permitted on the Great Lawn. I believe they do have beer vendors: http://forums.viachicago.org/index.php?s=&...st&p=944511
zebra
Is this a public performance or private since you need tickets?
