I discovered White Castle on my 1st trip to Chicago and made it a must :wub on every return trip. After not getting back for a year or so, I realized I could get them in Jersey when I started travelling down to see my 2nd favorite band :D

I went to NJ as part of my vacation last week and we were SO FAR NORTH, I couldn't get any... :cryin

So now I'm DYIN' for some...and yes, they sell 'em frozen at the local grocery store but that's just NOT the same as heading into White Castle in the middle of the night after a great show and piggin' out with the rest of the night people/fave local band :cheers

So I know plenty of you actually live where they are quite common...your thoughts?!?

Love 'em, when I moved to Dallas from St. Louis I couldn't believe they didn't have White Castles. Probably a good thing to only eat them a few times a year though. I'm staying w/ some friends in STL next week, definitely gonna have to make a stop.

I love them AND am disgusted by them.

Completely agree. I am baffled though when I order sliders and the cashier don't know what that means. I didn't even know they werent called silders for most of my life!

P.S. I had fatburger for dinner.

Six or more "slyders" in one trip gives you the status of a "slyder pilot." Regale the grand kids for years with the distinction. Yeah, it's a stupid way to spell it but that's how they spell it.

I remember in Detroit White Castles were always paired with Church's chicken.

I'm a fan of chicken rings. I had my friend from Detroit meet me in Vegas with a bag of chicken rangs 2 weeks ago. That's right... I changed the spelling to RANGS.
