I didn't say it was evidence for God. All I said is, if you can explain to me how the universe came into being, then I will no longer believe in God. I didn't tell you what avatar or concept of "God" is my own personal belief.

 

I think athletes that think God cares about the outcome of football games are foolish, and your bringing it up is irrelevant.

 

The great thing about God is, you don't have to explain his origin, because he transcends that. The same can't be said for matter.

 

The Bible (as has been said to you repeatedly, etc.) was written by men, and admittedly has some inaccuracies. It's clear that you can't get past that, and that's fine. Others can see the big picture beyond the mistakes, and that's fine, too.

Still terrifying.

 

The possibility that we could elect a U.S. President who takes biblical prophesy seriously is real and terrifying; the likelihood that we will one day confront Islamists armed with nuclear or biological weapons is also terrifying, and it is increasing by the day.
