Sir Stewart
What about this trilogy: Raising Arizona, Barton Fink, No Country For Old Men I don't think those count.
napoleon
the godfather part 2 and 3 are horrendous. even though part 1 is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, it's not enough to hold up an entire trilogy.
JUDE
Home Alone Trilogy > Back to the Future Trilogy
Sir Stewart
the godfather part 2 and 3 are horrendous. So these speeches about filmmaking, they're made while standing on an overturned garbage can in front of a captive audience of pigeons?

The three movies by Gilliam are actually a trilogy smartass! it's true, but they don't deserve to be on this list. i went with star wars because how could i not? the bourne trilogy might be my favorite though. darkstar
Even though Godfather III sucks, the Godfather trilogy still wins in a landslide. Amen brother....my thoughts exactly

Beltmann
All I know is that Godfather III is unfairly maligned, and Back to the Future II is a total piece of crap. I still vote Apu.
the_fliz1
I went with my heart and voted Star Wars. I would have gone Godfather but Coppola just had to kill Sophia in part 3. It just ruined it for me.
cryptique
Godfather 2 is just as good as 1 if not better.Truth. I wasn't even aware that some people thought 2 wasn't good.
hollow
Star Wars for me, but it'd be really hard to pick a second as there are so many good choices (ok, it'd probably be LOTR, Godfather III ruined the trilogy for me).
WilcoOfTheDay
ummmm...where is The Mighty Ducks?

It just ruined it for me. I thought killing her was good, I was disappointed she was even in the movie. She was the biggest mistake of part 3. I disliked her role and her involvement with Andy Garcia's character. I didnt even like Andy Garcia's character. The passing of the torch to Andy Garcia didnt work. I did however was intrigued with all the happenings to Micheal. The development of his character into old age made the movie worth it for me.
OOO
I was going to mention the Terry Gilliam trilogy, but mostly out of spite. But I see that has already been done.
tongue-tied
I went with Indy, always a lot of fun. I second the Bourne trilogy too.
Gobias Industries
I went with the LOTR trilogy, because it ultimately was the one I ended up growing up with, and thus it has impacted me the most.
