yermom
All this CNN talk about, "Now she sees that she has to be herself...." is so obnoxious. It's as if to say, "You didn't like her before? Well, that wasn't the real her anyways. The real Hill is a total sweetheart. A trustworthy woman. (A woman! Just like you!)" I'll keep my wagon hitched to the Mr. O train, thankyouveddymuch. mountain bed
i'm more surprised how shitty Edwards did honestly...I think the populist tack that he takes rubs folks the wrong way when they realize he's a millionaire lawyer. Whether it's right or wrong it makes him seem like a slick career politician. I like Edwards, btw.
ikol
is there anyone besides maybe Fred Thompson that you actually like? curious here... while i don't like Clinton, if i was a Repub i'd be shitting my pants in '08 and doing "eeny meeny meine moe" That's pretty much how I feel. None of the Repubs is consistently conservative, except maybe Thompson. I respect McCain the most, but I don't know how he would do in the national election. Huckabee is a good guy, but he's not all that conservative. Thompson acts like he doesn't want to be President. Romney's a total sleaze, almost as bad as Edwards. I guess I would rather have McCain lose the national election than Romney win. Then there's Ron Paul. He's the most consistent and reliable conservative, but he is completely unreasonable on the War (which is probably why he has so much support). He might still be worth electing for his domestic policies, though.

mountain bed
McCain may not the get the nod for the nomination, but he really should. As Ikol said, he's the only one on the Rep side I actually respect.
Atticus
One of hillary's campaign people was talking to shep whatshisname on sunday, after shep played a clip of clinton acting kinda human, and the campaign woman said "I'm delighted when people get to see the real hillary" I couldn't believe it, and no one has apparently made anything of it. Edie
She is winning by 6000 votes and 2% overall with 85% reporting. Not exactly a landslide....
mountain bed
They were talking about a possible 85% turnout earlier as well. That's just incredible.

I think I'd prefer there be only one Hilary Clinton. It burns me up that I have so much distrust for the female candidate. I want to be into her but the way she's being presented in the press (whether that has to do with the press or her own people) really turns me off.
solace
She is winning by 6000 votes and 2% overall with 85% reporting. Not exactly a landslide.... nope... the gap has closed a bit too if you watch the actual voter #'s... this could end up being a 1% victory after all the votes are counted

solace
No offense to him, I'm ready for Richardson to get the fuck out of the race. eh, at this point it's no harm in having more voices... (why it's important for Kucinich & Paul to stay in for a while) i've always respected Richardson. my mom was all about him earlier last year.
Elixir Sue
Oh, I respect him (and god knows I respect Kucinich), but I'd like to see his supporters' votes going towards the front-runners at this point.

John Smith
I have to weigh in one last time and then I'm out of here... I can not believe than anyone who has heard Thompson speak and seen any of his campaigning actually thinks that he is a qualified candidate. Dottering fool is all I can think of when I see him speak. He makes Romney and Giuliani look competent. He would easily be the worst candidate republicans could put on the ballot except for one thing and one thing only...uninformed voters would vote for him because they would only think of his TV persona and that would be enough for them, that and those who will vote for any candidate with an R next to their name regardless of their qualifications.
