Guest Gym Teacher Man
I got fucking 12. I feel so fucking stupid. I would say that the timing had a lot to do with it though. At least 10 questions that I had the answer on the edge of my mind but didn't have time to answer. Next year I have to do better. If only they could give me 50 questions about sports, movies, music and presidents, I could probably score pretty well.
Three dollars and 63 cents
I think I got at least 22. That's nothing to brag about, but it's better than I thought I did.
uncool2pillow
Discussion on the Jeopardy! Board re: Tues. Night Online test I think I got 40 out of 50 correct. Maybe that will be good enought to get a call to another audition, but I'm not counting on it.I "knew" 35 of 50. That was w/o the pressure of the ticking clock. Hope I get some easier questions tomorrow night!
IATTBYB
I'm sort-of miffed at a couple of the ones that I missed. The IN and "prompt" responses came to me right as time was expiring and I had typed in "M" and "cue". The only ones that I had no clue on were the Elgin Marbles and Patricia Cornwall. But, my complete and utter Vishnu guess was spot on, so I have that going for me.
cryptique
I also answered "cue" instead of "prompt." And I answered "mercenary" instead of "freelance," dammit all. I sucked on the literary questions -- my brain just doesn't access that information very quickly. I knew the answers but just couldn't pull them out of my head. This is bad, because I was an English major. I just counted again and I'm still pretty sure I scored 37 ... but that depends on whether one of my answers made it in time. I typed it fully but didn't hit Enter before time expired.
IATTBYB
I also did mercenary instead of freelancer. I had no ideal of that was the origin of "freelancer" but it makes sense. As a helpful hint for anyone who is taking the test tonight or tomorrow, don't hit enter after you type in your response, let the 15 seconds run out and your answer is entered automatically. If you hit enter, you move to the next question right away. The benefits of letting the time run are (1) if you immediately know the response, you get a chance to "catch your breath" and settle down a little and (2) if you are typing in a last second resonse, you might time out and when you hit enter, you are already at the next question and have entered no response. I liked learning the origin of freelance though! IATTBYB, thanks for the tip for tomorrow night!

IATTBYB
Gotcha. I've always wondered if there are different questions for the other nights (I assume there are). Let us know!My understanding from last year is that there are different questions over the three nights of the on-line test, but the categories are the same.

explodo
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I thought that test was mighty easy. I know for certain I missed about 6, likely a few more. But I knew a lot of them. EDIT: The timer got me flustered on a few that I definitely knew. It is hard to not draw a blank on some of those.
Moss
Just took it a few minutes ago. Holy cow I did bad. I froze up, even on the ones I knew. I could not come up with the name "Lindsey Lohan" for the life of me until right after the test of course. I know I got the Radiohead question correct at least. explodo
I said Colbert Bump when I wanted to say First Bump. That was my moderately embarrassing mistake.
caliber66
Yup, forgot again tonight. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next year. Dammit.
Lammycat
I tanked tonight, as well. Two years running! I guessed Lindsey Lohan, though. Do they give Mulligans?
explodo
I know for certain I missed about 6, likely a few more. But I knew a lot of them.By "a few more," I apparently meant ten. Yikes. 34 probably isn't good enough for a call back, eh? The answers to some of these make me feel like a total jackass for having screwed them up. Stupid Jeopardy. isadorah
i would have done much better had i been in on the second night. still not the jeopardy genius i thought i was though. oh well.
OOO
I was at a poker game during the test, and I stopped to take it. With a little help from my poker opponents, we ended up with 34. Oh well!
Scalzunfield
How does everyone know what they got? I mean, I know I was a miserable failure but the message afterwards said something about no score being provided.

uncool2pillow
Boy, I'm wishing I took today's test. Easily knew 40. Maybe 42, I wasn't timing. Did anyone else think these were a lot easier than yesterday's. Hopefully tomorrow's will be as favorable to me.
