Analogman
Morris was there, that's all I know. I have that movie blocked out of my memory. I saw it twice in the same week - it is a shark sandwich though.
cryptique
whoa. the time played?!Yup. And it was badass, except for that Rihanna chick ruining the middle part. They did "Jungle Love," complete with all the dance moves you'd expect. They first brought out Jimmy Jam in his role as the chairman of the board of the Recording Academy, like he was going to make a speech, but then the announcer introduced The Time and JJ ran back to get behind his keyboard. EL the Famous
Prince Wins Grammy; The Time ReuniteLOS ANGELES (AP) ― Minnesota grown rock star Prince has won a Grammy. Prince was honored for best male R&B vocal performance for his song "Future Baby Mama." Prince also introduced Alicia Keys as the best female R&B vocal winner for her smash "No One." Last night's show also featured a reunion of producer Jimmy Jam with Morris Day and The Time, a Minneapolis-based group that toured with Prince in the 80s. Band members said backstage they've recorded a fresh CD, their first in 18 years, and expect to tour again soon. Morris Day had told reporters they planned to go into the studio and then get on the road. But guitarist Jesse Johnson told Day not to lie -- he says they already have an album in the can. The group had been eating meals together the week before reuniting at the Grammys. Jimmy Jam says they've been having so much fun that they're going to keep it going. OH HELLS YES! watched that clip and they still got it...the rhianna part sucked until she yelled 'chili sauce' and the entire stage busted it out.

Sir Stewart
I gotta give StewsPimpDay some leeway on this one - what are the chances that the week he decides to mass-pimp his band's gig on a semi-obscure former alt-country lite pop band's quasi-official message board, is the same week that former members of The Time are playing in a band at the same venue as his band and in the same week the original members of The Time reunited on a Grammys show that featured to some extent said former alt-country lite pop band and whose reunion would be discussed on said quasi-official message board?
