LouisvilleGreg
This was a great, great show in a very small venue. It was a couple of days after a five year relationship came to an end and damn if it wasn't the best therapy ever. What a dream set list: "One By One," early "Less Than You Think (no drone)," "Bob Dylan's Beard," "Roses," "New Madrid," my first time hearing "Kicking TV," and "Theologians," plus loads of BT and AM gems, three encores (some of which were real Louie!). Anyone else around here at this one? 2003-05-01 Wilco The Orange Peel The Orange Peel home page Asheville, NC1. One By One One By One lyrics @ bemydemon.org2. alison the wilca
i was at that one. it was truly awesome. the venue itself was lovely, comfortable, and non smoking. asheville was a gorgeous place to be and the weather was awesome that day (crazy but beautiful thunderstorms). the show itself was really fun and jeff played the request jasmine and i had made to him earlier that day (pick up the change, because we totally weren't prepared and didnt know what to say). this show is a nice memory
mpolak21
One of my favorite boots, great show, excellent set. Not For The Season is particularly kicking. --Mike
froggie
excellent show.. pity the sound quality on the cd isnt the best, it would have made it even better
blureu
I was there too. Definately my favorite Wilco show. I need to dig out that boot.
bigshoulders
Where can I find the lyrics for any of these songs? Incidentally, that was a fine show at the Orange Peel. I was there, up front. Even got a Leroy Bach guitar pick that night. Kevin
LouisvilleGreg
Once again a case of we should've been chilling years ago and not just a couple of weeks back. I just found out me and Sir Stewert were at the same premiere iof the Wilco film in 2002 in San Diego of all places. Oh well Kevin it was great to me you at any point in time, Greg
watch me fall
I wish they still played The Orange Peel. What a great venue. So much better than Thomas Wolfe.
brianjeremy
My first Wilco show...Yep, and it's still my favorite. I've seen all three concerts in Asheville and the ones at the Thomas Wolfe were flat. Nothing beats the 'peel in my opinion. It's may favorite venue in Asheville. chisoxjtrain
How does the full band More Like the Moon sound live?
bourbonbreath
I have this show on cd and remember loving it when i first got it due to 'rare' songs being played at this show. As stated earlier the quality isn't great of the recording... and if my memory serves me correctly the version of MLTM is hard to hear with all of the surrounding talking, etc.
MadMonkey
My first Wilco show and still my favorite. Although I will say the 2 shows at 9:30 last week are up there. Went to some really good pub right up the street from the venue and also remember checking a bar where a local act was playing after the show. Good times. As well as the show itself, what a great night.
