Scott Gyrrr
Thats actually a pretty good article. I was expecting one of those 'introduction to Wilco' type stories. Thanks man

Sweet Papa Crimbo
Thats actually a pretty good article. I was expecting one of those 'introduction to Wilco' type stories. Thanks man I agree. A very nicely written piece that doesn't pander to the mythology and myth building that the American media seems to love so much. "We just make stuff"
lost highway
Yeah new album! I put three dollars on an early 09 release.
DAngerer09
I'll see your 3 and raise you 10,000 that the album won't come out until late 09/early 10.
Doug C
I want to add my thanks for posting the article. A very refreshing interview and story on a band. Many music writers should lessons from him/her (I forgot to read the byline!).
Three dollars and 63 cents
This is a very thoughtful and well written article. It definitely wasn't yet another rehashing of the usual facts, like many articles I've read are. It was also cool to hear from Mikael--I don't think I'd ever read an interview with him before. It's nice to know they're headed into the studio soon, and that they're just going to take their time and have fun. It sounds like a really natural process, and one that I'm sure could have some great results.
mahinty
I want to add my thanks for posting the article. My pleasure. It's good to share the love.
ginandcigarettes
I think it's interesting that Mikael said of the new album, "It's a no pressure situation." Isn't that almost exactly what John said in IAMTBYH during the making of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot? Is that foreshadowing?
froggie
thanks i've also got 3 interviews/articles with Mikael here. i'll scan them early next week and post them. he mentions how he preferred to meet Kermit the frog at the grammies instead of Oprah!
