PJsoldiers
I've been a huge Wilco fan for a long time, but a few years back when the "More Like the Moon" EP was offered on the band's site, I failed to jump on it. I have since heard "A Magazine Called Sunset" performed live twice and "Bob Dylan's 49th Beard" performed once. I was hoping someone could let me know where I could get my hands on a copy of "More Like the Moon." Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Gabe32
i downloaded it from WilcoWorld, but the times of the songs are all fucked up. anybody experience the same thing? yea, i think they meant to do that, so you can't put it onto a CD and distribute it. at least that is my guess. AGM155
Yeah mine is the same as well. Put me off listening to it for a while - wasn't sure how I'd take to listening to a 30min version of Kamera...

Wendy
We got Bob Dylan's Beard however, same ep, so that's pretty close. next year they're gonna clear out the archives, and it's gonna be in July. Let's hear more about these July 2009 Wilco Residency dates that exist in your fantasy world.
Duck-Billed Catechist
I always thought More Like the Moon was one of their best songs. There was some talk on here of the guitar being sped up on the recording.
Reagent
More like the moon is one of my favorite Wilco songs too. Its extremely pretty, great lyrics, beautiful classical guitar solo. I had my fingers crossed that they'd pull it out at the Residency but I was happy to see Magazine Called Sunset and Bob Dylans 49th Beard anyway.
morelikethemoon
the more like the moon ep has always been one of my favorite wilco releases.. im not sure why i always get such a kick out of it, it just seems so beautiful, simple and to the point (the fact that its an ep probably has something to do with that). i just really like how it has a little bit of everything: a rockin outtake of 'kamera', an early version of 'handshake drugs' (hinting at the drection they were heading in), a yhf cast away ('magazine'), the woody guthrie-esk 'bob dylan's beard', and the poetically wonderful 'woodgrain' and 'more like the moon. its obviously where i got my name from..
