oceanman
I just got Doug Martsch live set from 02....................SBD! On Etree 6-23-02, it's stellar. His solo stuff, some BTS, some Halo Benders, some Bowie, some Cat Stevens, some VU, and Ottis to name a few covers. Wow, what a must have gem of a show!

lizish
the tallest man on earth - shallow graves holy christ is this good. Isn't it? Sorta puts the other Swedish Folkies to shame. The packaging on Kensington Heights - wow. It's a fold out that forms the body of this elongated Cessna. Looks like the whole thing was photographed and constructed by Dallas Wehrle and it really lends weight to the statement about this being a band where everybody puts in a huge effort. mjpuczko
i've never really gotten into swedish folkie's but this is amazing stuff.

Hello Saferide and Peter Bjorn and John had a really short shelf life. Too cute and sugary

CortezTheKiller
Oooh.Saw him and Julie open for Steve Earle back about 10 years ago, or so. Great performer! It's a good album. I love his cover of Dylan's "With God on Our Side." Very appropriate in light of the U.S.'s invation of Iraq which was fairly fresh when the album was released. solace
while i still prefer the prior 2 EP's, i've gotten over my initial disappointment and am REALLY enjoying this album now... it's very same-y, but packs quite a punch (11 songs over 28 minutes). now hopefully they win me over live in a few weeks, cuz the first time i saw them i was let down big time.
