PopTodd
Odd.Didn't go to my 10-year, as it seemed too soon. But I will be going to this one, with my wife (who did not go to the same HS as I did). Kinda excited, but weirded out.
watch me fall
Mine's in 2 weeks but I decided to go see the Old 97's instead.
cryptique
I skipped mine. They were charging over $100 to go to the damn thing. I didn't like most of those people anyway, and I have e-mail addresses for most of the ones I did like. My idea of a reunion would be to get all of my old poker buddies back together for one evening, lots of pizza and local brew (Bell's), playing cards into the wee hours. I'd pay $100 for that, but not for a stupid event at a stupid hotel with a bunch of stupid people.
JUDE
Wow, you guy's are like old.
embiggen
I went to mine last year. none of the people that I hung out with were there, but it was still fun and I got to know some people that I never talked to before. plus it was funny to see what everyone looked like after 20 years. I'd pay $100 for that, but not for a stupid event at a stupid hotel with a bunch of stupid people. It's been pretty easy for me to get in touch with a few good friends I graduated with. The rest, I really don't care what they are doing now and how many kids they have. I hear you about the hotel thing. Ours is supposedly semi-formal, which pretty much sealed the deal for me. Also, when they sent out the list of people they couldn't find, over half the class was on it. (200 out of 400) Wow, you guy's are like old. Fuck you, JUDE.

lamradio
My 10 year will be next year. I'm with cryptique. I would get my highschool buddies together and drink beer and play poker. Wait.. I do that anyway every week. I wasn't too big on highschool. For my Senior prom, we showed up, stole some food, then went my my house and drank beer. Good times. austrya
Jay and I have our 15 year reunion next month. We went to the same high school and hung out with the same friends. We still hang out with most of them as we still live in the same town. It will be neat to see what some of the people are up to these days.

gogo
I went to a reunion a couple of months ago, for all of the classes from my high school that graduated in the 80s. All five of myself and my siblings fall into that category, but only two of us went. It was more fun than I expected, but I really wish I'd brought my mom as my "date", since the question I got most often that night was "hey, how's your mom doing?" Everyone loves my mom. And when we talked to her the next day, my mom was way more interested in how all of those people are doing now than I was, even while I was there talking to them. Which is probably part of the reason why everyone loves my mom.
bobfrombob
Dude...I am due for my 30 year HS reunion. Talk about weirded out...Dude, Jude, the rest of you. I don't know if it actually happened or not, but my 30th has already passed. So I'm older than dirt.
benjamin
I had 4 high schools in 4 years. I won't go to a single HS reunion.... ever. Thanks military family life.

MattZ
My 15 yr reunion was a few weeks back. I couldn't go because I had plans at home to rearrange my sock drawer. I saw some pics though. Wow. I am sure I had more fun.
Elixir Sue
My 10-year HS reunion was last month. We went to a baseball game and then to a bar, which IMO was much better than a formal dinner at a hotel or something...less awkward, more mingling, more beer-drinking. I had more fun that I thought I would.

Wilco Worshipper
I'm in the process of planning my 20 yr reunion with some fellow nerds. The popular jock/heads of the student government have slowly turned over the planning to us geeks. Yay us! We are going to have it at a function hall, low-key sort of. Casual dressy, buffet, cash bar and all the 80's music you ever wanted to hear and more. We created a website. We're making favors/keepsakes. We actually have received a high rate of interest out of the 230 plus classmates that we could find so far. And we're not charging a stinking $100, just $40.
