bobbob1313
Just another way of getting your music out there and getting an extra buck while you're at it. Good for Billy.

Wilco LP #7
Actually, the pumpkins used to be really, really good. I didn't know about the GNR thing. I didn't know GNR really even existed anymore. Shows how much I read Rolling Stone and watch VH1. The point, though, should stand aside from what anyone thinks about either of those bands. A stupid fucking game that eats up time that could be spent learning an actual instrument is now an integral part of the music industry. The game pushes the idea that musicians are Gods and that we can only imitate them via video game: we can only be them in virtual reality just as we can only dunk as Michael Jordan in virtual reality. It kills the DIY credo. But what do I know?

GutenAbend
I love it when morons say that Billy is a talentless hack. The sorry truth is that cd's are not selling like they once did and artists have to find other ways of music distribution,as music is a business too.If you look at wilco's track record and compare it to smashing pumpkins, you'll see that SP have sold about 23 million more records than Wilco. Not an easy task for any band.Give credit where credit is due and Billy deserves some respect even if you don't like or appreciate his music and talent. OOO
I don't have Guitar Hero or Rock Band or anything, but I've played them a few times and they're fun. I don't have any problem at all with this though...it's a creative way to get your music heard. Nothing wrong with a gimmick here or there.
