LouieB
The record industry is dead....... Some of these albums are good, but many are either not that exciting (not that I know all of them but I know a few) or only worth $5. LouieB
ction
Thanks for this...I'm picking up a couple of these right now.
brianjeremy
The Go-Betweens disc is a great CD/DVD combo. And worth more than five bucks I might add.
LouieB
I certainly recommend the Robie Fulks; and Shrunken Head by Ian Hunter which has some cameos by our own Jeff Tweedy on it and is certainly worth $5. Spooked by Robyn Hitchcock is not one of his better efforts, despite nice back-up from Gillian Welsh, but it is okay at 5 bucks. LouieB
thecanuck
I'm not familiar with all the albums listed, but I would definitely reccomend that everyone pick up Sloan's Never Hear the End of It if they haven't already. It's a 30 track colletion of power pop at it's finest from one of Canada's most underrated bands. Easily worth the 5 dollars.
myboyblue
You Am I - Convicts is a great album
tangara
I'm not familiar with all the albums listed, but I would definitely reccomend that everyone pick up Sloan's Never Hear the End of It if they haven't already. I've often wondered where to start with Sloan and it sounds like this might be a nice introduction.

ThisIsNowhere
Is Down With Wilco any good? Or should I get it just for the sake of being a completionist.
LouieB
Is Down With Wilco any good? Or should I get it just for the sake of being a completionist. The answer is maybe....and the answer to the second non-question is yes. LouieB
Guest Hollinger.
of the Minus 5 discs, Down With Wilco, The Minus 5, and In Rock are all definitely worth the price. I like the rest of their stuff, but those three really stand out.
Guest Hollinger.
also, it took every fiber of my being not to drop a couple hundred dollars on cds looking through that web site.
tangara
Is Down With Wilco any good? Or should I get it just for the sake of being a completionist. I think so. I was just listening to it yesterday, oddly enough.
