Three dollars and 63 cents
High Road Touring is showing Jeff as available for special shows and one-offs through the winter, so maybe we're getting our hopes up too much for a full tour For what it's worth, they're also listing Wilco as available in May and June. KansasAl
I didn't like Foellinger for a show. I felt like I was going to get an Economics lecture from that Socialist bastard Tweedy. Didn't he play Dear Employer that night, too? Typical.I'm guessing this is sarcasm but what do people think of this venue? I'm serioulsy contemplating the 6 hour drive. Never seen Jeff solo. Kinda a must do thing for me. I have vowed to never see a show at Foellinger again. The crowd is either really lame or pompous. Saw Weezer open for Live when I was in school and people sat down most of the time. Saw Wheatus, Harvey Danger, and SR-71 (if I remember right) and people sat again. Saw the Wilco show in 2002 and, although people did stand, we got yelled at for standing too soon. And if standing when the house lights go out means too soon... Could never figure it out being a college town and all. Sorry for ranting but I have a feeling I'm about to break my vow. Haven't been down in quite some time. Heard White Horse closed.Hummmm...well this is a tweedy solo show right? So perhaps the mellow (probably seated crowd) will make sense this time around? C'mon folks sell me on this. Tell me I should make the drive for this
lamradio
I hope there are more of these solo shows, hopefully within a realistic driving distance for me. I have still never seen Mr. Tweedy solo.
Three dollars and 63 cents
Me either. Heck, I was a Wilco fan for probably four or five years before I finally got to see them.
fatheadfred
At least you can drink coffee at an Econ lecture... No food, beverages, or smoking are permitted in the seating area. http://www.foellinger.uiuc.edu/venue/policies.html
jayrtip
Count me in. Billyman the White Horse re-opened their doors a few months ago. if that helps you make your decision.

KansasAl
Got row J kinda surprised I was on that site the second it went live. Hoping to get first 5 rows. Oh well 9th row works just fine. Yay Im going to see Jeff for the first time! Watched Sunken Treasure last night for inspiration to make the purchase and to make the 6 hour drive in what could be ugly weather. billyman
Well, so much for vows. Just got tix. Sec 3 Row H seats 1-4. Nice. Got it right away but figured that the students have a presale for the very front. Nice to hear White Horse reopened. Will need to stop in. Also looking forward to dinner at Radio Maria's which is one of the best places we have ever dined.
KansasAl
Had 4 in row J in my cart, the site updated and poof theyre gone. FUCK! that sucks-I am in J. Especially since you would have been next to a DMB fan who has seen them 27x. Would have made for nice conversation. Your username sort of gave you away
virtualreason
I got 2 in row G. I'm guessing the first few rows are reserved for students/staff/faculty of UI. Let's hope for non-dick students! FYI: I'm still pulling tickets in rows G and J....keep at it.
Wendy
I got section 1 row F, but that's pretty close up. I always like being more center, but for a solo show it's not very important sound-mix wise.

jayrtip
Fantastic. I'm in My girlfriend and I had already planned on going to Radio Maria before the show. Best place in Champaign, hands down. fall menu includes Pato Tacos (duck tacos, sounds scary/weird but they are absolutely amazing) We will probably hit up crane alley afterward. gonna be a great weekend. That is not entirely true. I pulled up a couple in Row D. Maybe A-C weren't released?
