pdiddy
www.nojazzfest.com Probably won't be able to catch the show(s) since I'll be on tour, but great to hear they'll be back! New Orleans is my favorite Wilco city -- I discovered their music there while waiting in a clothing shop on Magazine Street for a girlfriend to try on clothes, and came back there a few months later and saw my first Wilco shows.... bböp
Any idea what their timeslot will be on Saturday? We are flying out of NOLA that evening and I want to be sure to cath their set! Looks like Jazz Fest just announced their time slots. Not exactly a surprise, but it appears that Wilco is scheduled from 5:30-7 on the Gentilly stage (maybe the second-biggest stage?). They're playing at essentially the same time as, among others, James Taylor and Erykah Badu. Full schedule here.
Bhickman
I'm in New Orleans next week. Glad that there's nothing big going on there then and I can enjoy the city without throngs of tourists.

bböp
paul are u going to NOLA? Yikes, Wilco is playing parallel with The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton? Drat. God willing, I will be there. (I thought I told you that.) Anyway, I'm bummed about the time slot because I was hopin' for some Sweet Baby James.
