silsurf
What a wonderful and happy ending to this thread. Tonight was the Greek show. My girlfriend (wife as of yesterday) and I were in the first row in front of Nels. At one point in between songs Jeff says, "OK, what is this Kotche Power tee shirt all about" and we went nuts, it could not have been better and of course they were gearing up for ITMWLY so when Glen finally mounts his kit and strikes the pose, he drops one stick, points it directly at Jessica and says "Kotche Power" as he cascades down onto the opening drum beat. I don't think I have ever felt as good at a concert in my life as I did at tonight's Wilco show, it was a real gift. I have some great shots that I will post to the show thread as soon as I can. What a great band, great night, great gift. Henry

I was listening to the webcast, choppy as it unfortunately was, and when Jeff made the "Kotche Power" comment I laughed out loud and had to find this thread to show my daughter and son the cool shirt he was referring to! We got such a kick out of that moment! HUGE congratulations to you and your new bride! What an auspicious beginning to your marriage!
dunnright00
Cool story, and Great shirt(s)! Too bad I read this so late, and your shirt got flagged. With a little advance notice, I might have been able to make that shirt for you.

Killer Whales
I'd love to see one from Tanglewood last summer when he had 2 gongs behind him. One of the funniest moments I've ever witnessed at a concert

MeDave
Would LOVE to see one from Lowell in the pouring rain from last week... anyone? and jeeeze - if John's not leaping off his amp in that photo above he needs to try out a basketball career - that's some pretty impressive vertical distance if its just a stage jump. damn. Great story. Congrats to you and your bride. I was at the Berkeley Show and remember this moment very clearly. An incredible show on a beautiful night which I am sure few of us will forget quickly. GasCabbie
I did happen to grab a picture from the Lowell show, but be warned! Rain + crappy cellphone camera = you get the idea Also, cool shirt and story! I feel like Pat Sansone's numerous and hilarious poses would make for a great shirt as well.
