InHiding19
Is there any rumors of Wilco playing any east coast dates this fall? They should play Albany they have never played in the city limits before!
gogo
It's possible, but probably not likely. Fall is already pretty booked up: http://forums.viachicago.org/topic/40982-fall-tour-dates/ http://smartley3.wilcoworld.net/shows/
cracked & hooked
I was hoping for the same thing and September is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide open. Come east, young men!
rac1234
yeah, somehow i doubt it. they just spent a couple of weeks touring the northeast and upstate NY.
Three dollars and 63 cents
I'm pretty sure they're taking most if not all of September off. I know Nels has some recording projects planned, including a live Singers album and possibly something else. I think we've gotten all the Wilco on the east coast that we're going to in 2009. watch me fall
I was hoping for a Charlotte or Atlanta date but looks like that's probably not happening. Oh well, maybe next year!

Three dollars and 63 cents
Or plan a crazy road trip I'm hopeful for some late winter/early spring dates, though. It seems like it's been awhile since they've hit a lot of the major northeast cities, so I'm sure they're going to next time around.

I had been formulating a Columbus plan but in the end I couldn't really justify giving up two vacation days to go to Ohio. I think you're right about later NE dates - maybe a makeup date for the Boston area rainout, maybe NYE at MSG? I will be patient. I just always like having a Wilco show to look forward to! I also was looking for a "makeup" date for the Lowell rainout, but it does seem unlikely now with all the tour dates we've seen. It's been 5 years since the New Year's Eve show. I think it'd be cool for one this year.
RaspberryJam
MSG is terrible though.

jff
I was hoping for a Charlotte or Atlanta date but looks like that's probably not happening. Oh well, maybe next year! The weather in Atlanta is much nicer in January/february than it is in Chicago or New England. Maybe Atlanta will get a winter show.
cracked & hooked
MSG is terrible though. In what way? I just know they put on a great NYE party there in '04! One of the funnest, blissest nights of my life.
RaspberryJam
I've never been to a concert there when the sound has been good, it's just too big and echo-y.
knotgreen
the title of this thread is a tease.
jmacomber68w
I think having a winter new england run is something for the band to consider. They have not played Boston since 2007, so by February of 2010 a New England trip seems kinda likely
gatr9197
I was hoping for a Charlotte or Atlanta date but looks like that's probably not happening. Oh well, maybe next year! yeah i was hoping for some Florida dates. One tour date (J'ville) in three years sucks. There are plenty of Wilco fans down here who seem to get the shaft each Wilco tour....
