The one in our new office's bathroom is possessed, and spits out miles of papertowel for no reason at all, when you least expect it. The noise scares the crap out of me, no pun intended.

no joke, but i used an automated toilet yesterday. it was talking to me from the moment i stepped in!. telling me which button to close the door, also i have a 10 minute time limit, that i have to wash my hands in order for it to flush, telling me how to re-open the door and then saying "thanks for using our services".

 

gee, men go in there for some time alone!

 

and i wonder what will happen if you overstay the 10 min time limit?. will the door fly open and an inspector will slap a parking ticket on my arse?

the corner of Queen and Bourke Streets in Melbourne!. i should go back in there and record the whole thing next time!. i thought these things only existed in Japan. our own Remphish came very close to it a couple of years back!

Yes, yes, yes! I hate that so much of CNN is now given over to pure video. I don't mind if there is a video in addition to a news story, but I hate having to watch a video to get the news story! Let me read the story, and then watch a video about it if I choose to, but not as the sole source of the story.

 

Adding to my dislike of this trend is the fact that I can read, and get the important points of the story, far faster than the video can be loaded and viewed, in most cases. So it slows me down to have to watch a video.
