Sweet Papa Crimbo
So freaking cool...Njal proposed to Elin at the Band of Horses show in Oslo earlier this year. When the Bride and Groom heard that BoH was to play a festival in Tromso on the same day of their wedding, they contacted the band and told them their story. With all the coincidences surrounding the wedding, the band said, "What the hell" and decided to surprise the couple. The band showed up minutes after landing in Tromso to play Marry Song at their ceremony. BoH was honored to be a part of the couple's special day. Congratulations Njal and Elin! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I09hqp_KYv4

lamradio
Shortly after the camera went off, they broke into an acoustic version of "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" by The Dan Band.
The High Heat
At Wilco's show in Durham this past March a woman up front asked Jeff if they'd play at her wedding. Tweedy responded, "You'd have to pay us life-altering money to get Wilco to play at your wedding."
bigshoulders
Very cool of the band to honour the couple on their wedding day. It's unfortunate that the groom couldn't see it without turning around, though.
pillowy star
Awesome, I love bands that go out of their way to just be human beings with a soul instead of being pretentious prats.
Moss
That's great. What's not to love about this band.
Tweedling
Wow! Did you see how hot those chicks were?! The band should have played "Norwegian Wood"!
