I hope you're OK. My mom suffered a pulmonary embolism following routine knee-replacement surgery. Fortunately, it occurred soonafter coming out of surgery so the post-op staff were all over her as soon as the symptoms appeared. She takes a blood-thinner now, Coumadin, and has her blood tested every two weeks. Otherwise, she's been fine. I hope you're on the mend.

Sitting in a hospital bed in Fort Worth wondering if there is anyone else who has had to deal with this.

 

Not yet - but I did undergo a cardiac catheterization on Thursday.

 

I can't offer any kind of knowledge or advice, guys, but I can offer my best wishes. You'll both be in my thoughts.
