tinnitus photography
Crow...now there's a band i haven't figured would show up here...i really liked them. smoked some weed w/ the singer when they played a predominantly Sub Pop-based music fest in VT way back when. Fritz
Oh wow, yes. Peter Fenton. A very nice guy. A band I was in at the time played at a Gram Parsons/Flying Burrito Brothers tribute night and he was there. He sang a few songs then came up on stage with us at the end to sing 'A Song For You'. gryffe
The Specials opening for The ClashJoy Division opening for The BuzzcocksSuicide opening for The ClashThe Skids opening for The StranglersMikey Dread opening for The ClashThe Cramps opening for The PoliceComsat Angels opening for The SoundTeenage Fanclub opening for REM Nearly all of these gigs in Glasgow or Edinburgh late 70s/early 80sIn The case of Joy Division, my mate and I only went to see them and we only stayed for about 3 Buzzcocks songs before leaving. The Cramps were a happy accident, somebody at work talked me in to going along to The Polce gig with him. I had heard of The Cramps but didnt have any of their records. The Police crowd hated The Cramps and were baying for Lux Interiors blood, so what does he do? He just whips out his dick in a Jim Morrisson style and jumps in to the crowd!! sonicshoulder
About a 60 year old Japanese guy had an electric guitar with a drum stick taped to the neck bashing a snare,he had a cymbal controlled by a string tied to his foot, a tamborine hanging somewhere else and a harmonica around his neck belting out "Pretty Woman" as only a 60 year old Japanese guy with broken English playing a half a dozen instruments could. It was a concert at Bogarts in Cincinnati with Everclear,Tracey Bohnam,7 Year Bitch, and Poe. Sorry it was the 90's.

He was a national treasure. >Opener I Was Glad To Have Seen Before They Got All Douchey: Kings Of Leon for U2 Boston Garden May 2005 (3 nights) That tour must have killed KOL.
