Chinese Apple
Maybe this is old news, but in this month's Esquire Magazine, UK edition: “Hamm’s favourite song lyric, he tells me, is from 'A Shot in the Arm' by Wilco: 'What you once were isnt what you want to be anymore.' Waiting for our espressos, we roll that around our tongues: What you once were isn’t what you want to be anymore.” “'For whatever reason,' he says, 'that resonates with me.'” Also: http://www.thelmagazine.com/TheMeasure/archives/2009/08/04/cast-of-mad-men-loves-wilco-dont-know-how-to-make-a-mix

The High Heat
Who's "Jon Hamm"? Last I saw him he was the top FBI agent in 'The Town'.
Chinese Apple
I wonder if this was because (Six-degrees-of-Wilco) Elizabeth Moss was dating/engaged to Fred Armisen at the time, and Mr. Armisen and Mr. Tweedy go way back: http://www.myspace.com/video/artistonartist/artist-on-artist-fred-armisen-jeff-tweedy/3425517 but back in 2009 there was this: http://jezebel.com/5329015/the-stars-of-mad-men-sure-do-love-wilco
choo-choo-charlie
Cool! Who's "Jon Hamm"? Ever heard of "Mad Men?"
Scalzunfield
It doesn't surprise me at all given that the recent "Friends With Kids" movie that came out from Jon Hamm and his longterm girlfriend used parts of Shot In The Arm twice during the movie and nearly all of Solitaire. Magnetized
You guys who haven't seen Mad Men are missing out. Especially you, Lou. We're old enough to have actual personal memories of this shit! Seriously, I highly recommend watching it on DVD. Every season is amazing, and there's a lot more to the show than you might think at first. It's probably the best show on TV. And Jon Hamm is pretty easy on the eyes (just a little added bonus).

brightlights
I have never seen an episode of Mad Men but love Jon Hamm based on his SNL appearences alone...he is brilliant. Then you should really give Mad Men a try--a different flavor of Hamm and a varied cast of characters. Very well done, that show.
