anthony
The list is out. Some interesting stuff on it, for sure. Cassettes? Really? Not too sure about that one. We can all argue about MP3 v FLAC v vinyl v CD, but no one is nostalgic for tapes, are they?

imsjry
Got a ton of great vinyl! Husker Du, Dylan, Stooges/Black Keys, Rolling Stones, Bowie, Pink Floyd (7 Inches), Big Star colored vinyl soundtrack. Miles Davis-Round Midnight, Milestones, Someday My Prince Will Come. Yo La Tengo-Fade. Lord Heron. But the best thing I found was a pristine used copy of The Clash-Sandinista with the lyric sheet! The fact that it there is nothing short of a miracle considering their used collection usually is mostly Journey, Neil Diamond, and Billy Joel.

SarahC
I snagged a copy of the Old 97's/Waylon Jennings double 7" and it is pretty great. The local store only got 2 in so, I hope the other went to a good home and not ebay. Also got the Pornography 7" (that Ryan Adams side project) pretty fun punk stuff. Hoping the local store can snag one of those Elliott Smith 7" from their distributor for me. I'd love to have that, but didn't see it Saturday morning. Would have also loved to get that Big Star, but the local store only had 1 and I couldn't find it. Enjoyed going out for RSD- did not enjoy being stepped on by eager people trying to push in front. Probably won't go next year unless there is something I can't live without. Also, the local store marks everything up at least $2 which isn't cool.

imsjry
Phish Lawn BoyWhite Stripes Elephant. I had in my hands the one copy in the store of Lawn Boy and put it back and within seconds it was gone. I now see them going for almost $100.00 on Ebay. Ouch! I really wish I had the Junta one they released last year.

Those original 1000 were going for $700 a piece on ebay. I also have Junta on vinyl sealed and can't bring myself to open it yet... I would say after Pearl Jam original pressings Phish are the most expensive. Ghost and Farmhouse continuously go for over $150...crazy stuff.

anthony
Is the Elliott Smith alternate version drastically different? Worth picking up?I would not use the word drastic, but there are more sparsely arranged (which is something I generally enjoy). You can test drive some on youtube right now. I really don't understand the prices for the Big Star album. I didn't even think that was a RSD "exclusive" or anything. They had about 5 copies of that at my store and I think they are still there.
