The Loft's Facebook page posted about this today -- with a cool picture of Jeff rocking a Strat!

Nice little exchange on that thread about this:

"Paul Doucette: I've never seen him with a strat before.

The Loft Paul, there has been a little bit of a strat awakening over at the Loft. Jeff has a few very very lovely ones that are getting a workout lately. Pictured is the one that started it all."

And then later on in the same thread someone else posted this great video of that Strat that started it all...

What do you suppose the chances are that the auction winner will not "need" Tweedy to play on their song?

Time's running out!  Auction ends today, 9 p.m. Central time.

And, the bidding is nowhere near as high as the last time this charity fundraiser was offered (at this point, anyway).

Dreams can come true, you know!  All for a great cause.

Looks like the auction closed out at $29,500. The high bidder was tcstan. He was in the lead throughout the auction. Anybody know this lucky person? And can he pack me up in his suitcase? I promise to not be too much trouble.
