Mr. Heartbreak
I think people just wanted to hear Jeff, so they got quiet enough to do so. Singing, even softly = not hearing him during that "hootenanny" portion.

froggie
That would be interesting. Coincidentally I am listening to that right now from the final UT show (the one Jeff mentioned at the show) - has Wilco ever done it? I know way back in the early days they would have Jeff do a solo set during some shows and play UT stuff, but I don't know if the band ever did Gun. i've love the 29th Oct 1997 version from Minneapolis. that was a full band version. he played it solo on the AM tour, but it has been done with the band http://www.wilcobase.com/song.php?song_key=
Mr. Heartbreak
Oh yeah, they did it a bunch in the 1990s. The version from 11-12-96 is absolutely incendiary, to use a word that came up earlier in this thread.
Mr. Heartbreak
Here's a photo from the encores. Give Back the Key or We've Been Had, I believe.
Central Scrutinizer
I can't believe they did Dreams, I must have requested a good 7 or 8 times! Such a wonderful show. Cowbell guy was great too, as was the crowd. Totally have post concert blues now thoughLate to this conversation but they did Dreams the last time they played at Florida Theatre -- with Total Pro Horns, heavy on clarient, an amazing New Orleans tone to it. u2roolz
http://wilcoworld.net/events/?cs-step=members It looks like the FREE Roadcase for signing up for CrowdSurge is this show which isn't even available on the Kung Fu store. Enjoy! Once you sign up, you should be able to see the download link for it on the main page.

Mr. Heartbreak
Awesome. I was hoping a recording might surface, but having a soundboard is always much preferred. This show rocked, too. Check it out, everybody.
The Inside of Outside
I am looking forward to listening to this show. Via Chicago opener, Pot Kettle Black, (Was I) in Your Dreams, Camera, and We've Been Had - looks great. I imagine it will sound great, too.
