Perhaps it was. But I still suspect it was considerably rarer. That's not even necessarily a slam on the Bush administration. 9/11 changed everything, and who's to say a Democratic administration wouldn't be doing the same thing? -

Yes, and Lansbury's pouring that scotch because she already lost everything.

Probably the most underrated Zeppelin album.

I've been trying to tell people that for years. Seriously, human extinction sounds like a great thing to me. And it can't come soon enough.

As has been said, more or less, by others here already, I don't feel the religion itself is the problem -- it's the twisting of religion by evil pigfuckers that is the problem. I am not religious myself -- I have no use for it personally. But I do believe, for instance, that Jesus was a great man and a charismatic teacher, and that he wanted the best for humanity. Unfortunately, his teachings have been bastardized and turned into a source of wealth and power and a foundation for hatred by people like Pat Robertson, to name just one very prominent example. To me, Robertson is the epitome of t

This attempt to sabotage the Geneva Conventions is one of the stupidest things Bush and his cronies have ever done -- and that's saying something. What flabbergasts me is that a lot of people actually support them on this issue. Hello, don't you idiots understand what this will mean for U.S. troops? Torture doesn't work anyway -- it yields unreliable information. But I guess that's no different from the information the Bushies use to make most of their other policy decisions, so why should they care? -
U2 - "October" (duh)

I got it for 60 ... but the discs were a little scuffed. Played and ripped fine, though.

"Far Post" being one of the best ... sadly that was only ever released on the "White Nights" soundtrack -- which I finally broke down and bought because I wanted that song so badly. Why not just spring for the ten-disc box set that includes remasters of every album? I just did that a few months ago, rather than purchasing all the remastered versions individually to replace my older ones.

For those of you who don't already know about it, I just wanted to post this from the Michigan page of the NORML site: I really should be getting high every night with a law like that.

{{{{{vibes}}}}} (I know how much this sucks. Hope it's nothing too serious and/or expensive, ES.)

Thank you for doing your part to prevent '80s "fashion" from making a comeback.

I think I have to get one of these for my niece.

I don't know that they've ever been a proper band (it's very much Mike Viola's project), so a crappy live show wouldn't surprise me. The first two studio albums (Falling Into Place and Play With Your Head) are fantastic.

Hard to rank 'em, as I tend to go through different phases with Zeppelin. Currently, I'd put them in this order: Houses of the Holy Physical Graffiti I III Presence II IV In Through the Out Door

...and why he just can't wait to get there ... again.

I believe he was involved in the writing, yes (along with Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne, if I recall correctly), and I think he also sang the lead vocals for the "Jimmy" character. His own work doesn't sound much like that.
