Of course that's what you hear. He's a quarterback going to a Super Bowl. It's all sunshine and unicorns. He's the second coming of Tim Tebow. I'm not a fan of his politics, specifically this kind of thing. I'm sure he's not alone in holding those views, but they stop me short from cheering for him personally.

So far, anyway.

Sadly, I don't expect to make it this year. Y'all have fun. There should be a summertime VC gathering in Chicago (but not between 7/23 and 8/9).

They close school here in SE Michigan much quicker than they ever did on the other side of the state (in the "lake effect" zone). Growing up over there, we always thought of people from this side of the state (excluding Detroit itself) as pussies, and now I know why.

I also answered "cue" instead of "prompt." And I answered "mercenary" instead of "freelance," dammit all. I sucked on the literary questions -- my brain just doesn't access that information very quickly. I knew the answers but just couldn't pull them out of my head. This is bad, because I was an English major. I just counted again and I'm still pretty sure I scored 37 ... but that depends on whether one of my answers made it in time. I typed it fully but didn't hit Enter before time expired.

The "click" varies wildly for me. I've loved a lot of albums on the first listen, but typically it's at least two or three listens before I come around. On numerous occasions I've put an album away after a few listens, ignored it for a while (weeks, months, even years), then came back to it, at which time it clicked.

Wow. I post something as a joke, and this happens. I am only saying this because I care -- there are a lot of decaffeinated brands on the market that are just as tasty as the real thing.

I listed all of the scores from last night. Exactly one team failed to reach 100 points -- and it was the Grizzlies, which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

I was floundering at the beginning, but I finished VERY strong. Hard to say, though ... I felt better about the test two years ago.

OK, so it hints at the prospect of a lack of employment.

The version I heard was much longer, and the guard snapped to attention and saluted at the end.

I'd suggest changing it to "Where" rather than "What."
