Ooooh, I always love those Otto's shows. Or maybe a new suburban venue...the Arcada Theater in St. Charles.

I'm in 100% agreement. Picking Knoxville and Charlottesville as the two nights to see on this trip down from Chicago was, in hindsight, brilliant! Both shows magical in their own right, amazing set lists, and stunning venues. One of the best thing about this site is the relationships that grow as a direct result of Tweedy and company. Greg, we had a blast with you and Nichole as well. I'll make the journey down to Charlottesville any time. Beautiful city, gracious crowd, superb people. Like Jeff said last April, "Charlottesville, you make me feel safe!"

SOOOO glad we made the trek up for this show. Sounded great. Solid setlist. (Dreamer in my dreams!!!) Lots of quality banter. I talked to the taper before the show. He was fifth row center...said that he would post on Via. (But that it might take him some time due to a backlog of shows.) And Pat's "ghost" playing piano in the wings was funny as hell!

We scored BBB on Friday night and DDD on Saturday night. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now!!!

Is that the EP that was released in Spain? We need a reprint! Ah well, I suppose I must be patient. I'm not very good at patient.

I was at the Smog show last month, and have been mildly obsessed with finding Kraig Johnson's music since then. No luck. Anyone have a suggestion? I'm getting DESPERATE!!!

By the way, that new song was AMAZING!!! Can't wait to hear that one on the album.

I thought the show was amazing. Very different from any show I've been to since the Otto's shows after Jeff got out of rehab. But it was that same kind of nervous, edgy vibe last night. I took my brother to his first show, and I know that he will remember that one always. I couldn't help but think throughout the entire thing how difficult it must have been to go through with playing the show. But in typical Jeff fashion, he bared his soul to the audience...hopefully it was theraputic. I didn't see any tapers there...did anyone else?

Anyone know what happened between Wilco and Thax? I saw him at Lolla introducing several bands, but didn't show his face for Wilco...
