  1. glad to hear the good news, El F. Continued recovery vibes.
  2. a map to the treasure buried deep within torre's nose?
  3. as of 3:04 p.m. today, I do not have this album
  4. this is not the "neil & erika wedding anniversary" thread I was expecting
  5. foreshadowing of neil patrick harris on a weed run with the girl that just broke up with that other guy that goes horribly wrong...
  6. you just had to go ahead and ruin a perfectly below-average bit of sarcasm with the "facts" didn't you?
  7. Metallica/Ozzy was the first real concert I ever saw, while Metallica was touring for Master of Puppets. So I'm partial to that one. I can still rock out the beginning of Master of Puppets on my acoustic, but it probably sounds like squirrels fucking on a pile of branches to most outsiders.
  8. I'm not saying it's not a good show--and I agree that neil patrick harris' character has some great lines. I just think that if they toned down the goofiness factor it could be a much better show. have you watched the big bang theory? It's silly too but for some reason it makes me chuckle.
  9. "too three's company silly" would be even better because of the fun little too/three two/three word play I had going there
  10. I think it's kind of sick that this guy feels that he needs to describe in detail the time he might or might not have had a threesome while telling his two young children about how he met their mother. actually, the show has gotten a bit too three's company silly for my taste, but we'll probably keep watching it...
  11. not the sperm donation thread I was expecting
  12. sincere vibes and prayers I wish the old hug emoticon still worked
  13. I've not been able to get into any version of underdog (except of course the original cartoon, which was the shit), but I still think they're a band worth watching
  14. when I was little, one of the requirements for my babysitters was that he or she would be willing to pretend to play instruments with me along to the beatles red greatest hits record I had. My love for them has never waned since. I'd say I'm more obsessive over wilco in recent years, but no one will ever take the place of the beatles.
  15. because someone likes a band you loathe you refuse to entertain the idea of possibly respecting that person's opinion on anything? are you kidding? you think music should so drastically affect one's complete view and opinion of a person?
  16. depends on whom you talk to around here
