Sunrise in my backyard this morning

that is my problem. When I hold down the button, nothing happens anymore. I have no other problems with the ipod, and I think the problem was my fault for deleting the playlist in the first place... -

Sunrise in my backyard this morning

any ipod experts on here? Somehow awhile ago while reloading my music onto itunes, I deleted the "on the go" playlist (the one that, while listening to your ipod, allows you to add songs to this list). It's no longer on the ipod or itunes. I recently reset my ipod and that didn't change anything. I also can't find anyway to add the playlist back to itunes. Anyone know how to get the "on the go" playlist working again? Thanks in advance for any ideas... -

This morning in court, the judge was going through his docket, calling each case and asking the attorneys involved how much time they were going to need, etc., in order to establish the order in which the motions/trials etc. would be heard. He called out "Safeco versus Wang." At that point, an attorney sitting next to me stood, and with no intent at humor announced "your honor, I represent Safeco, and we served the wrong Wang and would request an additional 60 days from the court in order to have the proper party served." When he said "we served the wrong Wang" I erupted in laughter. Pro -
And you're still hanging around here?

Congrats. Keep fighting the good fight.

Nothing more fun than sitting in a packed courtroom, still a little woozy from the weekend's activities. Thank god all I have to do is stand up and say "your pompous windbag honor, the defendant in this ridiculous case is still a deadbeat serial bankruptcy filer who is clinging by a piece of dental floss to the protections of his last chapter 13 filing, and therefore we may not proceed with one of your biased "trials" in which the rules of procedure, logic and most of the law is squarely ignored as the nuisance it may be. May I be excused you almighty cheese poof?" I think that shall go ove

In that case, I embrace my unhipness. I'm listening to yo la tengo for the first time (and playing along as I listen), and am really enjoying it.

Please elaborate for we unhip.

between the ryder cup, our awful dinner last night, wasting most of the day to see arguably the worst football team in the country, and the work week coming up, someone in my position could get down. Instead I choose to self-medicate with beverages, geetar, and new music. ction, glad you had a good outing. It's good to know there's a yang to the ying.

I don't know that I can ever again attend a Houston Texans football game. Even though the tickets I had were free (and parking pass), this was one of the more miserable days I can remember. God what a worthless football team. Now I'm going to see what some beer, outdoor air and the geetar can do to turn this Sunday around.

What's the worst album you've bought in recent years?

My dad just sent me this picture from Keystone Colorado of Barney the dog enjoying his first snow (he's a Texas dog).

I would love some help. Naming is an interesting point. Might help to put a topic reference in the title as well e.g. "Jeff tells drunk girl to shut up" or (one of my favorites) "can you guys not hear in the back?". "No?". "You know why?" "BECAUSE YOU'RE TALKING!!"

I'm very much considering it. I'm limited on computer (editing/software/formats) talent (if you could find me a bunch of albums and a tape deck, I could do wonders), but I'd like to give it a shot. One of the unforeseen bonuses of downloading all the torrents I have has been the great tweedy banter. A mix of that could probably put me in smiles on even the worst of my work days...

Tapping feet, strumming along to alone (alternate version) off YHF demos. And smiling. Why did this song get abandoned? I know it's sing-songy to an extent, but it could be great. Were they afraid of a single? (gasp)

Anyone else ever find himherself changing the EQ setting on the ipod constantly, as if at some point you will magically unlock the key to spectral and sonic bliss?

I'm going to need you to come in on Saturday. mmmmm'kaaaaaaaay?
-
Anyone else moved in a sweet sentimental fashion by wilco's "instrumental 1" on the YHF demos (also in movie IATTBYH)?
