thanks out to all of you who trumpted III in this thread. I've had all the zeppelin albums since college, but just never gave III the listening time I guess it deserved. went through the whole album last night and it was indeed more impressive than I had remembered. I kind of wish someone else had been in the control booth during the fuzz solo on tangerine, but other than that the album is flawless for the most part. I had a bitch of a time playing along with "out on the tiles" fingers were tired after finally getting that whole thing down...

Anyone ever put together a Jeff Tweedy "best of" of between-songs banter? The more of these shows I've downloaded the more I've thought of trying to put one of these together.
