Actors in the least amount of crappy movies
Atticus replied to Atticus's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
wow. that made me sad. -
extremely happy with the Euphoria When I first plugged it in, I was not a happy camper. Took awhile to dial in the right tones, it's a sensitive pedal. But after tweaking it for awhile I'm sold. This is an overdrive that definitely gets distortion as well. the gain know goes from a true bypass/clean boost to pretty distorted. Fat knob doesn't just add low end tone, it also muddies the signal. I've got it at about 9 o'clock. By wednesday of this week this little fella should arrive, very excited:

I have no problem with that. I was thinking more of Slanted & Enchanted.

A Thread for Musical Blasphemy you Truly Believe

He has several discussions about the chronology of sampling, laws and instances relating to same and collaborations; what parts of a musical work are actually copyrighted (top line and lyrics). Byrne's book is a must-read (in my opinion) for any musician or person passionate about music. -
I am really upset with the finale of Twin Peaks. I don't know why I'm acting surprised, as I've seen it before, but coddamnit.

an irrational but admirable sense of adventure and/or a narcissistic drive to be on reality television. you'll have your guitar when skygod wills it. right now it is stuck in the Black Lodge. Jules is right. But, as far as buying and selling human beings go, people seem to think this purchase is a decent idea.

I don't mean that the music isn't any good--although sometimes the music is bad also. I'm talking about records that just sound shitty. for example: every studio album by the Grateful Dead, except maybe the one with the song that makes everyone so angry. even American Beauty and Workingman's Dead have pretty lackluster production and mixing. also: those Pavement guys.

send me one too then, please. k thks.

is this all over "All Around the World or the Myth of Fingerprints"? it's a plain, standard accordion riff and simple drum beat. I'm confused. that's what Simon "stole"? -
2 questions: 1. can't tell from the pic, but how do you have the toggle switches set on the prunes n custard? I always went back and forth on these. 2. interesting Rat settings. Looks like you've got it set really bright with almost no distortion. I am going to have to try that setting. I was about to take the rat off my board. It just has no low end compared to the Joyo Ultimate Drive (OCD rip-off) I got.

a friend of mine just bought a tabooley place here in Texas. I tried some and actually liked it. I was expecting to have to politely spit it out. this isn't really thread-relevant, but I'm sick and don't really give a fuck.

I got the humidifier. I'm not thrilled with its performance. it's one of the cool mist ones or whatever (the humid air it spits out is cool, as opposed to hot). it is very quiet, but I'm not sure it's really humidifying the room. If one of you would like to volunteer to manually humidify my room each night, please PM me.

Music often restores me to sanity or helps root me in the present, both of which I consider spiritual experiences.
