I can't believe I read that.

I particularly notice this when I've got my itunes on shuffle/random. the songs are there, at least in theory, because I like them But I notice that some I seem to reflexively skip quite often. This happened with Reservations for awhile. I usually just wasn't in the kind of mood that a song like Reservations would fit. It's such an intense tune. But then I saw them open with it in Austin and fell in love with it again. So now I don't skip over it.

I go back and forth between Winterland and The Jimi Hendrix Concerts as to best Hey Joe. Monterrey obviously is fresh and exciting, and Woodstock would have been better if he weren't so blind, but that song will always be Hendrix to me. The solo is not what gets me--it's the amazing riffs during the verses in the live versions.

That movie Crash was on the other night and it had the rapper Ludacris in it.

I've only seen the Last of the Mohicans out of that list, but liked it. Are you saying those are crappy movies?

it's not about importance, it's about value. The President's salary is $400,000.00 but I don't think anyone would argue that his job is less important than a corporate CEO. I sometimes wonder how many people wailing and moaning about CEO salaries have actually spent any time knowing a CEO.
