  1. I recently went through a pedal buying phase, and I'm in the process of making a pedal board, but I want to know a good order for the pedals I have. Most of them are cheap, but they do the job, and I wanted to see what order would work best to get a good sound and to reduce static and extraneous noise, if that makes sense. I'll list what I have: Distortion Overdrive Volume Wah Tuning Chorus Flanger Slap Echo Delay Reverb Tremolo Vibrato Again, a lot of these were very cheap, and I am very new to this, so any help and input is appreciated. Thanks!
  2. Yeah, they definitely do better in a live setting. However, she isn't as confident of a singer yet as Cooley or Hood, so audience reaction was kind, in a sort of "aww ain't she cute, she's singing" kind of way.
  3. Man, what a show! I was front and center, right in front of Patterson Hood. The band played for about two hours, and they were killing every song throughout. The songs off the new album rocked (especially Shoanna Tucker's songs) and the encore of Zip City, 18 Wheels of Love and Lookout Mountain absolutely killed. The Felice Brothers opened and they were so good. They were like a country-punk-hillbilly version of The Band, and for only a $15 ticket, I would have paid just to see them. Go see the Truckers on this tour, they are on fire. Jason Isbell is missed, but the rest of the band more t
  4. Thanks so much for all of this, but my question is why is night 4 only 94 mb? That just seems very, VERY small for a 3 hour show, if it's good quality. It should at least be 150 mb, if it is at 128 kbps. A little technical, but I am just trying to figure out why it is so small.
  5. You know what was the coolest thing about seeing/hearing you guys play with Wilco? The horn arrangements changed almost every night. They became more elaborate, and they better suited the songs. I thought you guys were awesome, and I am sad I only saw Friday, because after hearing you guys with the band on the radio/internet on Tuesday and Wednesday, it was clear you played a bigger and richer role. Congratulations, you guys sounded great, and good luck.
  6. Thanks a bunch, I really want these, but I have two questions: First, is night 4 from the XRT feed? And why is it only 94 MB? Even if it was mp3, it should be bigger than that...
  7. Maybe tonight Jay Bennett and Ken Coomer will be commentating.
  8. Anyone know how to access it? I may be out of the loop a bit, but I can't click on anything.
  9. Yeah, but they acknowledged they were being recorded for a live CD and DVD.
  10. Did anyone capture the audio? I missed the first half of the show, and would love a great copy of this show.
  11. It's at 7, not 7:30. Show starts at 7:30, stream is at 7.
  12. Is that the one where Sleater-Kinney joins them for California Stars?
  13. Sorry about tonight, and hopefully tomorrow night is better for you! After all, it is Wilco, and tonight couldn't have been THAT bad if they were in the mix, right? Enjoy tomorrow though. Some of us only got to go to one night, so you are part of the lucky ones.
  14. Thanks. Again, I wasn't able to listen to the first set (covering a meeting for the newspaper). Hopefully somebody captured the audio and posts it.
  15. Wait, they did On and On and On tonight? My bad. I didn't get to listen to the first set.
  16. I made a mistake, and fixed it, it was 6. Shouldn't Be Ashamed I Thought I Held You Pieholden Suite Less Than You Think What Light On and On and On That doesn't include MA or b-sides
  17. They have 6 songs not played yet...they are morons.
  18. I think that's it. 32 songs. Here is the complete setlist, as far as I know. Lucky bastards.
  19. Did Jay sing My Darling? I was never sure about the recording, but he did it in I Am Trying to Break Your Heart...
  20. Wait, they did bob dylan's beard? when? I'm trying to do the setlist as it goes.
