I didnt read the article all that carefully, but I dont think I have a problem with AT&T censoring it. Even if it wasn't an accident. It's their website, and I dont have a problem with them making a decision that they dont want to appear to be throwing their hat in the ring on either side when it comes to politics. I don't see this as "they're in bed with the Bushies" as much as "we have a business to run and music is good publicity for us, but politics isn't." I know they apologized and said it was unintentional, but I dont think this is that big of a deal even if it was intentional

The only thing I can think is that people believe that larger themes like "relevance" and "influence" help to validate their opinions of a band. The more influential or relevant a band is, the more that their subjective opinion is proven to be objectively correct. Which is preposterous.

It was actually pretty funny. I am sitting there stretching out my old and aching hamstrings and I turn to my left and there she is. Sitting on her fanny doing the same. So now, I am sitting there thinking "ok, so I am stretching next to Julianne Moore - this is so bizarre." She was actually much more petite than I would have expected. But she was beautiful.
