This is a cool story, but I'm not sure I'd take this as Jay sticking up for Jeff. If I am Jay (or Jeff), I'd be pretty effing sick of hearing anyone yell out anything about Jeff (or Jay) at a show all these years later. They have both moved on, but folks still can't let go (see these threads).
