  1. Wow! Thanks everyone. Chris, amazing that you already know me so well. Those would all be great gifts. YOU are cherry. Johnny, would love to do those mountains with you some day. Thanks. Lou, how many Leos do you know? Definitely will see you here or in Chicago or, better yet, both. Viatroy, is there any other way to be undressed!? Thanks. Tom, thanks, lets do some shows and a Chisox/Tiger game. To the others I haven't yet met, thank you.
  2. You scored 9 out of 10. You tore through that like a hurricane. Keep on rockin
  3. Tom, I don't know you but, having recently met your mother, your success does not surprise me. Congratulations!
  4. Yes, except he snapped pencils for the effect.
  5. On The Beach Everybody Knows American Stars N Bars (best use of snapping pencils as an instrument EVER, on Will To Love).
  6. They never play it live! Wait ...
  7. These make perfect sense to me. In fact, they described me at one time. Goddamn I love this song!
  8. Check out Sparklehorse: Dreamt For Light Years In The Belly Of A Mountain. Similar to what you've listed but with abstractions you can get lost in. Have fun with your treasures. They grow up way too quickly.
  9. Johnny!!! That is amazing news. Good for you!
  10. Thanks Donna! Miss you guys ...
  11. For all you Tiger fans, Bonderman was STRONG yesterday: Bonderman (W, 2-0) 4.0 2 0 0 2 3 0 2.00 He's been working on a change-up that, if he throws effectivley, gives him the third pitch that will make him an elite pitcher.
  12. That was BRUTAL. I was embarrassed for the kid. Walked out on Lynyrd Skynyrd ... 3 years ago. 'Nuff said. Why was I there, you ask? Don't.
  13. Miiiiike! Welcome. Good name. It has a nice ring at the end.
  14. Vanessa, That is a great photo. Thanks!
  15. Does he have a good arm? The only thing I've seen him toss was a diet coke shot in a chocolate shotglass designed for Bailey's during the pee break. He was so excited, he spilled half of it on the Coleman's dining room table cloth. Hilarious!
  16. You're right about the value of the GM. Without Dombrowski, the Tigers would still be finishing last behind the Royals today.
  17. That is great. Love Bright Flight. Saw them in Ann Arbor last year. An amazing show.
  18. It's going to be a tough couple of years: not easy to gain any momentum with a young team in baseball's toughest division.
  19. My son's a soph in college. I still lay a lingering kiss on his cheek any chance I get, especially in front of his friends. He doesn't seem to mind (I've been doing it all his life) but his buddies always seemed shocked.
  20. Been waiting 2 years for this. See you there.
  21. Or before a show in Cincinnati / Kentucky!
  22. That's awesome John! You deserve it.
  23. It couldn't have been more perfect. It sparkled! Edie's party the night before keyed the weekend. It was so easy and fun meeting everyone and learning that we all shared this very personal perspective about this very special man. The Colemans welcoming us into their remarkable home. It was as if their house had been built for that weekend. Especially the winding stairs down to the basement/soundstage. It allowed us to lurk like children on Christmas morning while what seemed the longest sound check ever occurred. Jeff was in an amazing mood. He seemed so happy. His banter was pric
  24. Likewise. Jeff told me (yeah, I can't believe I can now say that!) that it will be released in vinyl the same day as CD. He seemed as excited as I was. 3 words: sweet clean sublime
