I will certainly check this one out I realized that in my previous post, I had this riff ending on the 4th fret of the B string. It's actually the 4th fret of the G string, which is the same as your B string open. Seems like we're playing more or less the same thing here. The last riff looks good to me.

There's a pretty good version of acousstic Spiders in the archives here. Not sure about ELT and Summerteeth. AFAIK, the solo versions aren't different than the full band versions.... have you compared your notes with gumbopages? Sometimes the stuff there is good, some times not so good.

They're a different line - there's the Firefly/Triggerman line of solid state amps, and the Valve (Jr/Special/Standard) line of tube amps. I agree the Firely amps look cooler with the red tolex
