That too. THe Aud Theater IMO is pretty lousy place to see a rock concert.
-
It sounded pretty good to me, but I wasn't really trying to see if it matched the album note for note. also, to lankford for doing the chords
-
Uh, Tweedy didn't exactly pen that phrase.
-
Actually, I agree with imdwalrus. The Aud theater is good if you get seats up close, but the sound blows up inthe rafters.

I hear they're only going to broadcast a half and hour of me yelling for Pecan Pie

When you think of artists influenced by Dylan....
jhc replied to bobfrombob's topic in Someone Else's Song
which also contains an indirect LOST reference -
That is seriously a killer 1-2 combination right there.

AM: Box Full of Letters (might be Casino Queen but it's been overplayed at casa jhc) > Should've Been in Love Being There: Dreamer in My Dreams (see above re: Monday) > since I've learned to love Hotel Arizona, can't think of one Summerteeth: How To Fight Lonliness > We're Just Friends (worst Wilco song ever, followed by My Darling) YHF: Poor Places > Radio Cure (not a bad song, but have to be really relaxed to be able to sit through the first few minutes) AGIB: ALTWYS > I'm a Wheel

It's been well over a year since they played a full show

This isn't all that uncommon in high-end acoustic amplification.

I know from experience it's very hard to get more than 10 into one evening

does banter really need to be in a lossless format?

What if there were a long-term test for alcohol? Would you take a job that would fire you if they caught you having a few beers after work, or a glass of wine at dinner?
-
That's not true at all
-
only by marriage looks like the limit on detection for a single joint is about a week, depending on how sensitive the test is http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/00000138.htm

Swtich to something isotonic, like Gatorade, the day before the test, so it doesn't look like you're watering down you piss

I haven't listened to your mp3 - but the live full band and Tweedy solo versions I've heard are pretty much the same. The trick is you need to be in open G THe opening riff, (also frequently appears over the G chords) is repititions of this: d-------------------- b-0-1-0-1s3-3-1-0- g-0-2-0-2s4-4-2-0 d-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0- g-0----------------0 d--------------- for the basic chords, although Tweedy doesn't always do this, I like to do a basic blues shuffle like this: d----------------- b----------------- g-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 d-0-0-2-2-0-0-2-2 g-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 d------------------ this is

most people hate the CS-3 (I have one and only mildly dislike it) - try to play one before you buy, if you go to a Guitar Center they will have at least at CS-3 and an MXR Dynacomp to compare. You probably can't go wrong with a Fulldrive for country/rock, but how nice an OD sounds really depends on the amp - what kind are you using?
