in other Wilco related news - I'm trying to locate the tape of an interview I did with Glenn a few years back for his last solo album. I can't remember if it ever got published, so it will be new for all involved.

I cannot wait to hear this. Still waiting on word on when advances will go out. Hopefully this week. More hope than anything is in interviewing Jeff and the band about it. I can say that, if it were to happen, it'd be the most exhaustive, informative interview it can be and all of my fellow fans will love it.

oh so he was telling those people in the front something a bit mean. I couldn't figure out what was going on there. I was apparently in the critics section as someone from the Onion was to my left and someone else jotting things down was on my right. So bummed my son couldn't come with me...it was a great show.

Excellent - I'm taking my son with me. This will be his 4th time seeing the band and my 9th or 10th (depending on if you include when they performed some of their own songs as part of The Minus 5 in 2003). Show at Martyr's was great. Had some VC folks recognize me which was odd and cool. Nice people. I have a shit memory, so I probably forgot your names the instant you told me them. Sorry. I remember just about nothing. Sort of like Memento - the movie. Anyways, thanks all of you for reading the interview. I'm really proud of this one. Mikael seemed to like it a lot, too. He complimented how well it was edited. Which was awfully nice of him.

I'm in New Orleans next week. Glad that there's nothing big going on there then and I can enjoy the city without throngs of tourists.

Also, only particular to Wilco, I still buy a copy of the album the week it comes out. Even if I am sent a full-artwork copy. I am devoted to the band that much.

I don't have that sort of self control to wait.

advances won't even go out to press until some point in April from what I hear, so it probably won't leak until the first one hits a journalist's grubby little hands. LoL. and that journalist (or whatever I am) won't be me. I never copy and share an album...especially not an advance. I'm not even bullshitting.
