  1. Cost-effective man. Send the whole thing at once is much more reasonable. On them and on resources.
  2. Man I can't wait to hear this damn thing. I am praying that this is the album I get to interview Jeff about. I've only been trying for 7 years...LoL
  3. DVD's really good. As a fan, however, I wish there were more interviews. However, the performances were great. Really love this passage where they show the after effects of performing on the guys' bodies.
  4. Interview will be up Thursday or Friday. Going to the show on Saturday. Can't wait.
  5. ^^^ missed me by an hour. good interview, though. I hope to have it up and posted here in a week.
  6. Wilco songs I always skip: Heavy Metal Drummer Can't Stand It Less Than You Think
  7. man - two Riley Martin fans!? LoL
  8. will do. you a big Riley Martin fan, D?
  9. that Magnet article is pretty funny. I don't get the Via Chicago hate re: the vocal, but hey, everyone's entitled to their opinions. I loved the quick summation of "What Light" as "What Crap".
  10. As it happens I'm interviewing Mikael today about Pronto and will be throwing in some Wilco questions as well. If anyone would like me to consider posing a question to him, go ahead and enter it here and I'll try and fit it in. Thanks!
  11. I'd love to go to Saturday. The Pumpkins and Wilco? Sounds like a dream I had once...
  12. I wish I would have gotten this e-mail. I'm on the list, too. I found out through Paste magazine's site. Good song. And yeah, it's a Dylan cover because he wrote it, but in all honesty the version is pretty much a cover of The Band's live version at The Last Waltz.
  13. As someone who has dealt with some crippling, oftentimes life-threatening panic attacks and depression, it is greatly rewarding to read this full account of Jeff's personal story on his own issues and dilemmas. I'm glad to finally hear all of the details as well, as he has never said quite as much publicly about his ordeals in one place as he does here. Sure, you could cobble together the pieces from various interviews, concert appearances and in the documentary, but this is great one-stop shopping.
  14. I just decided to have a little fun with this, so I stated it clearly that it is an IMAGINARY interview and made it OVERLY obvious throughout that it was completely not real. Hopefully it comes off as amusing as I think it does. Please to enjoy: My FAKE interview with Jeff Tweedy about the band's appearance on Saturday Night Live tonight
  15. So there was a show and now there isn't and it wasn't canceled?
  16. so does anyone have a clip of this? I found out about this from my wife of all people. Who isn't a Wilco fan at all (save for "California Stars") and she said that she thought Jeff was really funny during the interview.
  17. My review with great pics courtesy of a Via Chicago member. Thanks for looking!
  18. As someone who's had an opportunity to interview four members of the band (Jay B, Pat, John S and Glenn) and who had Mr. Tweedy quote a lengthy passage of a negative review of a solo show of his, I know how over the moon you must feel. This band is really an inspiration to me, Jeff in particular. Very happy for your experience. Nice to see Jeff continues being a down to earth person.
  19. I'm imagining all of their booking goes through their booking agent at High Road and not through Margherita MGMT. I hadn't been on High Road's site in awhile and was amazed at how many clients they have.
  20. my review of the chicago show is now up on Static Multimedia. A big thank you for the photos (you know who you are). That was really kind and generous of you and I really appreciate it.
  21. I'd love to see Wilco take The 1900's out on the road to get them some exposure. They're a fabulous band from Chicago who play really rootsy rock and roll. If you don't know them, you can hear some of their stuff here or here. cool.
  22. I have a version or two from his Vic shows in 2003...but if this is a studio version than that's fantastic and thanks!
  23. I don't know...maybe it was just in your area, but I heard the roar of the crowd constantly. I sang at the top of my lungs throughout. I even clapped.
  24. Well the show and the venue were just spectacular. The emphasis towards the end of the set on material from the earlier years was spectacular. Anyone tape this? Anyone have a full set - list? Let's talk!
