  1. Team? And my non-smart ass reply would be to post this in the TTL forum. You're more likely to get some serious suggestions there.
  2. That's where we're going. Thought about going to the Atlanta show the next night but the Asheville show's on a Saturday plus Asheville's closer.
  3. Supposed to see them in two weeks so I hope not!
  4. Yeah I feel cheated. Where was the thread about my governor getting a piece of ass in Argentina?
  5. Levi's probably dumb as a post but he's cute. Course I'm old enough to be his mother.
  6. I'm guessing you haven't done this down south during the summer months?
  7. No, that's cool. My brother sang Windfall to my niece when she was a baby. For me Tupelo is more about a feeling moreso than the song writing, which yeah is pretty basic. It's just fun, especially on road trips. Also, after a few spins of the new one, I feel about the same as I do about the new Wilco: meh. No song, other than maybe Cocaine and Ashes, really grabs me. I'll keep listening, though.
  8. This was one of my brother's biggest complaints the entire three years of his residency.
  9. Grindstone definitely would be cool to hear. I'm the kind of concert goer who is happy if the band plays my fave song, so if Son Volt plays Windfall or even Route, I'm good. Same for Wilco and Misunderstood. It definitely feels special when either of them throw out a Tupelo tune, though. Thanks for the link to that blog..didn't know it existed!
  10. I guess I don't get that wrapped up in set lists but I've seen them play several tunes off Trace and Straightaways over the past couple years. And I wouldn't really expect Farrar to play much Tupelo, given the history, other than the occasional Chickamauga (sp).
  11. They played Methamphetamine into Afterglow 61 I think it was at the last show I attended. I remember thinking this is how music is supposed to be. Man that was some good stuff. Can't wait to see them again in September.
  12. Can anyone tell me who those people were that sang at the end of the service? (We are the World and that other song) I have never seen them before.
  13. Today he apparently twittered about Jenny Lewis (via my sister in law, I didnt see it myself).
  14. I always thought they were around the same age.
  15. Public viewing? Now that's just creepy. Or maybe it's just me since I do have an aversion to dead bodies.
