So is that I-40 construction really bad? Will I still be able to get to the record store using the Hall of Fame exit? (i'll be coming from the east on I-40 west). I have a Garmin but not sure if it picks up construction routes. Hopefully it does.

I'll be there. I'm going to try and get there early enough to get a signed dvd but with a 4+ hour drive, not sure I'll make it. Will definitely be there by 2 pm though! They aren't signing just anything, according to the website.

So the screening and the signing will both take place at 2 pm? I'm confused. No matter though, there's no way I'll be in Knoxville before 10 am.

Greenville is closer to Charlotte than to Asheville? Wow, I really need to brush up on my geography.

You might as well just assume it's going to happen at every show these days. I've been listening to the Cary, NC recording a lot lately and you can hear this one girl talking in almost every song. I'm glad I wasn't near her.

I'll be there with a friend. I'll ask about the places you mentioned but I will have to go to Tupelo Honey at least once while I'm in Asheville...either Tuesday night or Wednesday afternoon. Not sure yet. If we don't meet up beforehand, I think a lot of us have seats near each other.

Yeah they're definitely a pain but I was able to get the next day off work so I'm staying overnight in Asheville. My friend Christa is coming from Charlotte to meet me. We are definitely doing something before the show but haven't made definite plans yet. I need to just get through this Knoxville show first.

Music Today is such a crap shoot. I got my Asheville tickets weeks ago. Here's hoping everyone gets their tix on time.

I have a feeling we won't be in a hurry to see them either, especially since I'll be catching them in Knoxville.

I was wondering about the I-40 construction myself. I'm already nervous about driving in the mountains, so my nerves should be shot by the time I find downtown Knoxville. Thanks for the info, Ziggy. I noticed some of the hotels are putting construction detour directions on their websites, too.
